ABOUT
Nicole (aka Nikkiko) is a Singapore based Wildlife & Travel photographer dedicated to advocating Ethical Wildlife Encounters & Meaningful Volunteer Experiences.
Her mission is to shine a light on more responsible ways of experiencing wildlife - ones that prioritise animal welfare, conservation & respect for natural habitats. Having spent her life seeking better ways to observe & photograph wildlife, Nicole hopes to inspire others to do the same.
Her vision: a World where Wildlife & Humanity coexist in Harmony.
Nicole’s journey has taken her from ethical elephant & bear sanctuaries to orangutan rehabilitation centres, sea turtle conservation programmes & Chengdu’s panda bases. Her passion later expanded underwater when she learned to dive, allowing her to explore underwater photography - an experience she describes as especially heart warming: being able to gather images of the sea turtles' cycle of life, from fragile hatchlings to fully grown adults underwater, that she remembers as one of her most meaningful milestones in her photography journey.
Her images have received recognition in competitions such as Canon Photomarathon XI, Light & Life Photo Competition by NTU, Nikon & National Geographic. Nicole has been featured in The Straits Times, Asian Geographic, Nikon SG Instagram, YP.sg. She has also served as a judge for photography competitions organised by the Western Australia Tourism Board, EU Holidays, & 3Playtopia.
Driven by the belief that ethical wildlife experiences should be accessible to all, Nicole’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to found her own travel agency, AdventureTogether.sg.
Through her agency, Nicole curates & leads affordable volunteer trips across Southeast Asia, Safari Expeditions in Africa, Borneo, as well as Diving adventures in Indonesia’s Gili & Komodo Islands & more - continuing her commitment to responsible travel, conservation & storytelling - not just through photography, but also in an actionable & impactful way, where anyone can join & take part.
